ADHD prescription policy

The patient need to have either of the following:
1. Medical record from a previous psychiatrist who diagnosed and gave prescriptions.    or
2. Test results for ADHD including CAT (Comprehensive attention test), ATA (Advanced test of attention), and TOVA (test of variable attention) to confirm the diagnosis.
Without above documentation or the results from relevant diagnostic tests, this Clinic cannot give you medications. These medications are strictly monitored by the government because of their abuse potential.
 

NHI covers ADHD medication on the condition that the patient go through evaluation initially and every 6 months to see if the patient still need the medications.
